RCA 46LB45RQ LCD HDTV black vertical line Can't Post

i just bought this tv and it has a thick vertical line through the middle of the screen. i found the fix for plasma screens with the same affliction but i am unsure if the solution is the same since this is an lcd. the plasmas involve adjusting a flex cable. i do not have the tv in my possession yet but i would like to have things to try when it arrives.
thanks

You should have got it for free.
Here's the problem? The board thats giving you that problem is on the bottom of the panel. There are 2 of them- left bottom e- logic buffer and right bottom f- logic buffer. These are sodered straight to the lcd screen, no clips. On these boards there are flex cables that deliver ??? amount of vertical lines to the screen. On 1 of these boards a flex cable has shut down completely.(where black line is)There's not a heck of alot you can do.There are smd on these boards, (smd=surface mount device)maybe you can find out if one is no good. these are small theres resistors, caapacitors, diodes, coils. It could be any or all of these.
This video shows a person taking a 46" tv apart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9XOCXLFwkM
If you watch this at about 8:30 you can see the E&F boards hanging from the screen
