RCA CTC203CA5 32" Can't Post
I replaced my flyback transformer and everything works fine, except the picture is too wide. I got into the service mode, but I can only get the middle of the screen to shoprten up, the top and bottom stay the same.

The current and previous settings are as follows:

P01 = 11 24
p02 = 11 24
p03 = 07 24
p04 = 03 09
p05 = 08 19
p06 = 08 08
p07 = 08 08
p08 = 02 02
p09 = 02 02
p10 = 31 33
p11 = 63 83

Any idea how I could get my picture back?

I just need to know how to adjust my picture. If someone could post the proper values or even what each one is for, it would help me greatly.

just adjust each of those just alittle you will know when you hit the right one should be in the first 6

Thanks for the reply.

I tried the first 12 or so and didn't have any luck. Like I said previously, one of the settings pulls the middle of the screen in, but the top and bottom stay put, giving kind of an hourglass shape to everything. Nothing else seems to do anything horizontally.

Any more ideas would be appreciated.

The only "horizontal" adjustment on the CTC203 chassis is the paramter no. 4 which is the horizontal phase and has nothing to do with width. Since there are many iterations of the CTC203 chassis and they use different part number flybacks, it is possible that you did not get an exact replacement number for your specific chassis. If it is the correct number, I would check for questionable components such as C14404, CR14401 and 02, R14401 and 03, possibly Q14801/02 and associated components.
