RCA CTC 203CA2 Can't Post

RCA TV CTC 203CA2 (Model F32648) intermittently powers on and off, and keeps on changing channels. I can hear the relay clicking for about three or four times before it comes on, then after a few minutes or even an hour or more, the tv will shut down by itself. I have cleaned the switches and relaced photo diode (U14101). Any ideas on what could be causing this? Any help will be appreciated.......THANKS.

Check the solder connections on and around the horizontal output transistor and the flyback. The power supply on that chassis makes no sense so i won't even go there. Good luck

The most logical culprit that I can see might be the 12 volt regulator U14104. If that is not it, the power supply in this set is soooo complex that only a tech with the proper knowledge and test equipment could even come close to identifying the cause of the problem. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
