Unit is RCA F27650
serial: C442B2/WU
Service: F27650OTX2
Chasis: ATC 113BB1
One day while playing Xbox my son says the unit went dead, some smoke was seen. When I hit the power button there is a sound (possibly a chirp) the power button flashes on and off a few times then nothing, no sound or picture. The unit is completely dead.
I am not a repair man, but if the directions are not too complex I can try to get it working.
My other options are pay to have it fixed or toss it on the "you should have bought the extended warranty" waste heap.
