RCA F35100ST - vertical sweep problem Can't Post

Hi everyone, my parents RCA 36" F35100ST and the vertical sweep is shot (see: signs and symptoms at www.fixyourowntv.com)

We don't even know where to begin, any help would be much appreciated. My dad and I both have some limited soldering experience...

THANKS A MILLION!

Go to www.samswebsite.com and download Photofact number 3330 for $20. It will give you troubleshooting tips, a schematic diagram and placement chart so that you can identify the vertical output components that need to be checked. Most likely, the vertical output IC has failed.
