Hello,
I have a RCAF35673Mb It won't turn on, all I get is a high pitch noise. Two days before stoped working for good I turned off tv and wouldn't turn back on for about 10 min. Turned on tv next day after about 2 hours it went black with high whistle sound. I thought the noise was coming from switch mode transformer, removed transformer and sound stoped. Re-installed sound was back. After speaking with local repair guy he says might be flyback trans. I would have to bring in tv. Sounds like he is only interested in me paying him his approx. repair charge of $150.00 . I can repair if anyone will help me pinpoint problem.
