I have a 12 year old RCA G35831AT 35" tv that was given to me that will not power up . From what I've learned, there are several problems that could be causing this. Before wasting time and $$, how much $$ could be involved in making the tv usable. I'm trying to determine if it's worth the time & effort to repair. Thanks in advance. Jim in Wichita, KS

Thanks for replying Paul. By flyback I assume you mean the power transformer. In any event, how much $$ are we taliking to have a qualified repair person do the work? Thanks in advance. Jim
