What / Why are you needing to access the "servive" menu?

As components age or drift, many people would like to "adjust" something to compensate. If the component continues to drift, there eventually comes a point where adjustment won't compensate any more.
The correct action is to troubleshoot and repair the item (replace the component). If this is done, usually NO ADJUSTMENT will be required at all!

I have a RCA Pro-Scan model PS27108 can anyone tell me how to access the service menu ?
and if possible, the miscellaneous adjustments related to the service manual

Thanks Much - any help would be much appricaited

MrL@DD Press and hold menu and press power than volume + you'll have 000 00000 000 on the sceen than push volume till you have 76 on the right side last 2 digits than use chan + / - and volum to adjust. be carefull not to mess things up otherwise you will have to replace the EPROM.

Go ahead and get into the service menu, but if you don't know exactly what you are doing, you will have a complete mess on your hands and like the tech said,don't screw up number 1 or you will be ordering a special capacitor to resolve your problem! Been there, done that!

Or fire up the set on a variac at 70 - 80 VAC, go back into the service menu and raise #1 again. Sly
