RCA Projection TV only buzzing Can't Post
Here is the problem, I have a RCA projection tv in my clubhouse at the apartment complex I work at. Today the Television was on and electric drill was plugged into another outlet in the building and when it was turned on the television made a noise (loud buzzing). The TV was then turned off.

Now when the television power button is depressed the screen does not turn on and there is a loud buzzing noise that seems to be coming from the front speaker area. I am not sure what could be causing this noise and not allowing the television to turn on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like high voltage splitter is arcing and needs replacing is located behind speaker cover on front of set you will have to remove convergence panel to get to it

The high voltage splitter? I can assume what that is but how do I know what to replace after I find it. How do I find it and what part should I get to replace?

Any information on how to do it myself would be wonderful.

it's black with 4 red wires and 5 white wires, the red wires pull out the white wires unplug wehaveparts.com will have it just give them the model no. wait till you get part to take wires loose so you can get red wires back in right place doesn't matter about white wires
