RCA RLED4243A-UHD Backlight on, nothing else

I picked up an RCA RLED4243A-UHD that didn't work. When I press the power button, the standby light goes off, and the backlight comes on. Unfortunately thats all it does. No menu on screen when I press any buttons and no display from any of the inputs. I have replaced the T-con board and the mainboard with parts that had the same model #. However they were for a Proscan TV. I have also unplugged the output cables on the T-con board and plugged them in one at a time to see if that made a difference. Same thing. I also don't get any audio. There is a high pitched noise coming from the power supply, but I don't see any blown caps etc. Any recommendations? One more thing, the mainboard had a small burn mark on the SMD transistor (I think thats what it's called) close to the plug where the cable connecting the mainboard and t-con plugs in.
