RCA convergence pattern	Can't Post

I have RCA PS60682, Chassis ctc 170/PTK171 .. It wont produce service convergence test pattern. Service manual sez to press front panel MENU & - sign at same time. nothing (all buttons work on front panel & big remote). Tech mentioned front panel MENU, POWER button, + sign combination. nothing. Any ideas?
