RCA model P46730WK won't power up

I have an RCA model P46730WK projection TV that quit working. Initially it came on and immediately went off, the green led on the switch got weaker and weaker and finally stopped. I removed the TV from the cabinet, thinking the problem was probably in the power supply. I didn't see anything burned. I believe if I could locate a schematic, I might be able to find the problem. I hear a faint click when I press the on button.
I would appreciate a comment from anyone that might could help. The TV is ten years old and not worth spending much money on.
