Toshiba 50L2200u - Flex cable between LCD glass and circuit board	Can't Post

I disassembled this TV to fix one of the backlight led strips. In the process I managed to disturb one of the plastic flex cables between the glass and the circuit board situated along one edge of the frame. It simple detached itself from the circuit board. The contacts on the board and the cable look okay. Can't figure out how it was attached in the first place. Some special bonding process I'm not familiar with. Is it time to toss it?
