Re-installing Hitachi TV

Hi there,
I'm new to the forum, and hoping that someone might be able to help me with installing my TV, unfortunately, as it is a second hand TV that I purchased some time ago, it did not come with a manual or anything, therefore I do not have a model number or reference, however, I will detail the problems I am having.
I have just moved into a new flat, and so reconnected the Freeview box to the television as it was in my previous flat,and connected the aerial. However, when I oo into the Menu and click on Installation, it only lists programming options / Programme Tables or A.P.S, and there are no options to auto search for channels. Can anybody help?
