Hello folks I'm new here I hope you can lead me in the right direction.
While repairing my Vizio Model M3D650sv I accidentally cut one of the 8 ribbon cables. I need a replacement but my local repair shop said that it's not a replaceable part. How can that be, it's only a few years old.

As long as it is NOT a precision aligned multi conductor (see: Tab bonding) cable say from a panel driver board to the TFT panel glass screen ...
