SHARP LC-60C6600U won't power on

I have a SHARP LC-60C6600U TV that won't power up at all even when using the buttons on the side of the TV. Have tried different power outlets and still no sign of life. I suspect the power board but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas. How do you diagnose a bad power board?
