SONY KD5555XG9505 shadows/dark lines on screen edge

Hi,
My SONY KD5555XG9505 LCD has shadows/dark lines on screen edge, see link below to an album showing a photo. Am I going mad or does it look like fingers have caused these lines? Is that even possible?!
The lines are there across all content including menus, the image shows an almost full white image via Nintendo Switch over HDMI. I have been quoted £100 just to look at the TV before any fix, can someone advise please? Is this fixable?
