I have a Samsung LN32D403E4DXZA I got as a gift in September. In October or November all of a sudden I had just a black screen with sound. I could see the backlight was working, but no picture or menus. My wife says she caught my 2 year old spraying the side of the TV with Febreeze while off the day before it crapped out. I unhooked it and put my old TV back until I got the chance to call Samsung. After a few weeks I hooked it back up with the intent of calling Samsung, and it all of a sudden worked fine. I used it again for a bout a month then one day the picture became all pink snowy. The pink snow was over all the menus and over all the sources I tried. This time I called Samsung right away. After a bit of run around they said I would have to send it in for warrantee repair/replacement. They were supposed to email me instructions within 48 hours which never happened. Now the screen is black with sound and backlight just like the first time. I went to Samsungs online tech support this time and got the information to repair/replace and they are telling me I have to ship the thing to NJ on my dime. I don't have the box anymore, so to get it packaged and shipped to NJ it probably isn't worth it for a $250 TV. I'm an engineer who is pretty comfortable around electronics and a soldering iron so I thought I would try my hand at fixing it. I haven't opened it up yet, but I was wondering if anyone on here would have an idea what might be dying on the TV? Is it worth fixing? Thanks,
