Hello,
As of Christmas Eve my year old TV has developed a problem well turning on, and I was just wondering what the problem could it be, and what kinda ball park price am I looking at?
When I turn the TV on from being off for a long time, the Samsung melody plays 3 or 4 times before the picture comes on. Almost like it's trying to turn on but it doesn't and restarts the attempt.
When the TV does turn on there is a small line sometimes at the bottom of the screen and looks more like a colored bar code about 1/2 inch thick that runs horizontal across the screen. When this happens all I do is turn the TV off and turn it back on and it goes away.
Also if I turn my TV off for a short time (say 30 minutes) then turn it back on the TV starts on the first attempt without any lines running at the bottom of the screen.
