Samsung "No Signal" Problem after Lightning Strike. Can't Post

Good morning! I have a Samsung 46" LCD TV. We recently had lightning hit and the cable box got fried. I had the cable box replaced but I still can't get the TV to display. I get a "no signal" display on my tv screen. I hooked the cable box directly to the TV via a HDMI cable and have tried all 3 HDMI inputs. Also, have tried two different HDMI cables. I tried the cable box and HDMI on another television and everything worked fine.

The TV appear normal when browsing the settings menus but it acts like HDMI input is unplugged. Also, no sound (even static) is heard through the speakers. However, when I turn the TV on, i get a audible tone. I was going to try to replace the main or power board. I didn't know which one I need. Or could it be something else.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hey, just gonna give you a heads up. Whats the model number of the tv and how old is it? Better write that down on here before jts1957 comes in here and says "I'm not a mind reader".

Could it be either the video input or digital processor got fried? Are both of these on the main board? Thanks in advance!

Alright, so I got the TV to work using the component video inputs. All seems normal. It's just the HDMI inputs that are no working. Does that mean that just the main board needs replacing since that is where the majority of the HDMIs are located?
