Samsung Can't Post

I have A Samsung CI-5944N,a few nights ago a white line appeared at the top of the picture, the following day when I switched the TV on, there was sound but no picture. I suspect I need a new tube. Is it economical to have this repaired?

While it is no longer economical to replace a picture tube, you should first make sure that it is the problem. You more than likely have lost a required voltage to the tube but only a person with the proper test equipment can tell for sure. I do not have any service literature on this set so I'm not sure as to how old or what size the set is but a good rule of thumb is that if the set is under 25" it can probably be replaced at not a whole lot more cost than it would be to get it repaired. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7509165 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
