Samsung Powers off and on Randomly
|
Can't Post

Hey guys. I have a Samsung UN60ES6100 that has started doing the random power off and power back on. I have read all of the forums stating there is a bad capacitor and I am comfortable buying and replacing capacitors. I do not have specific capacitor testing equipment but I used my multimeter and it appears that all caps show resistance increasing to infinity (which I believe shows they aren't necessarily bad). My question is are there any caps on this model that are known to fail? Looking at the picture of the power board (board picture online can be found here https://ssli.ebayimg.com/images/g/OMIAAOSw0ndZ6Ecp/s-l1600.jpg) I figured that the large capacitors 450v 82uF would be most likely culprits of this type of behavior. I have found descriptions on how to fix other models which call out the most likely capacitors but can't seem to find a diagram or site that talks about this particular board. Thanks for any help! Matt
