Samsung TV , somechannels missing	Can't Post

Hi,

I have a SAMSUNG TXG2746 27" curve TV, when i connect my Cable to TV i am missingsome channels.
i tried auto scan couple of times, still same problem. i am not getting first 40 channels, i am getting the channels from 45 and up.
i connect the same cable to my otehr TV i am getting all the channels. I thought Tv tuner is gone, but i am getting some channels.
If i connect a VCR or DVD it works fine.
Can any one explain me what would be the wrong., Thanks in adavance

if you hook cable to a vcr and run thru tv on channel 3 or 4 does it work or only thru av jacks.if it does not work on channel 3 or 4 and i suspect it will not.
the tuner is prob. bad use a cheep vcr and run channels into the av jacks (tada cheap fix)
