Samsung TYS2547 Picture Problem Can't Post

The TV was manufactured in sept. 1997. My TV starts off working fine but sometimes the picture goes horizontal with audio still working fine and the picture is changing colors while still horizontal in the middle of tv screen. Some days this problem never happens, it could be days or just minutes before the problem occurs again. I can bump the top of the tv on the right side and get the picture back to normal operation. but sometimes the bottom of the screen starts to curl up and then horizontal or it just goes horizontal. Turning the tv off and then back on doesnt normally solve this problem, it happens when im watching cable and going through the rca jacks. I dont know hardly anything about tvs but i do kno quite a bit about electicity and how it works, along with diodes and other parts. If you have any suggestions on what to do let me know. Also i can tilt the top of the tv foward and the picture returns to normal. i really need help.

Hi: You have a loose solder joint on the bottom of the circuit board, likely on or near the flyback transformer(horz. circuit). look very closely at all the joints with a magnafiing glass they can be very hard to spot, or take it to a shop and tell them what to look for and let them solder it.
