Samsung UE55D8000 lines on screen	Can't Post

Hi,

I have Samsung UE55D8000 led/lcd tv with black/coloured lines running down the screen. The lines are on the far right and middle of the screen.

Software update, different HDMI cable etc but issue still around.

Is this an easy, relatively cheap fix or expensive fix?

OSD affected? Are lines covered by Menus, etc.?

Yes, menus are affected. I’ve updated the software but this hasn’t worked.

Lines are infront of Menus, all pictures etc.

Try reseating ribbon cables to Tcon.
Otherwise I'd suspect Tcon or panel.

I’ve reseated the ribbon cables and I now have no picture. Just a black screen.

Would this point to a faulty Tcon Board?

Pull em again. Examine for imperfections, and carefully reseat.

I’ve done that, and it’s all working again with lines. I’ve I apply a bit of pressure on the board the lines clear.

Going to replace the board. £24 for a working one that comes with a 9month warranty.
