Samsung UN55D6050TFXZA Repair Manual Needed Can't Post
This TV simply stopped working, the red LED blinks, but that about it. I think it is the power supply, so I ordered a repair kit for a BN44-00424A, about $15. It came without any instructions and the vendor does not provide any help beyond selling the part, so I went through the parts and tried to identify the location of the part on the PCB. I found a few matches, but some of the parts do not appear to match anything on the power supply board. I can fix electronics, have repaired computer monitors before due to bad caps. So, I need t schematic or a website that shows this particular model. Hope someone can help.

Thank you for the reply. I went to the first link and it's somewhat confusing, I couldn't tell if it was a downloadable file or an order form.

The repair kit you linked to is the one I purchased and I tried to find those part locations. Maybe I didn't look hard enough on this board.

Some are on back & under heatsink.

Click on red model number area. Will show a Document Preview window. Below that is 'This file is downloadable free of charge: ...processing...' - '...processing...' will change to 'GET MANUAL' (USUALLY within 30 - 60 seconds).

I returned to that link and found the Get Manual, which requires WinRAR, which I downloaded. But now it tells me I've exceeded my 3 download limit.

I removed the power supply, turned it over, and found all the locations for the parts received. I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron but some of these will be quite an experience to replace. But, I'm up for the challenge.

I'll keep trying to download the manual, maybe tomorrow it will allow it.

As I suspected, not much in schematics. Has Troubleshooting flow charts though.

Okay, I'll try it tomorrow. I'm not sure the power supply is the cause of the problem, this is just a guess on my part, based on some of the searching I've done on the web. It seems power supplies are frequently the cause according to a lot of people. I figured for $15.00 I'd give it a try.

I don't see any burned areas or apparent discoloration at any of the locations corresponding to the parts in the repair kit. The capacitors look okay too, not bulging or popped. So, I might be replacing a bunch of good parts. I tested the fuses with a continuity checker and they're not blown. Will test the resistors with a meter tomorrow. The other parts I'm not sure how to test.

I tried that link but there does not appear to be the Samsung UN55D6050 series among the service manuals or repair tips.

Is there a way to test the LED strips without separating the screen glass from the panel and looking for a burned LED? Everything I see in regards to checking for bad LEDs seems to involve separating the screen panel.

Thank you. I now have a service manual. As far as the LED strip diagnostic, based on your comment, there is no way to test the LED strip, got it.
