Samsung UN65HU8550 will not start	Can't Post

Samsung UN65HU8550 will not start. Turn on TV. Screen lights up. Mostly on bottom and lower sides. After 20 seconds or so, screen is dark. Thanks

Sounds more like it won't stay on.
During the 20 seconds, can menu be accessed? Can Input be changed? Does set have any active inputs connected? Is there audio?

Not real smart with this TV. I was given to me and is only 3yrs old. When I press volume key I can hear things change, Volume will go up and down. When I press other keys I can hear things changing. The screen does not "boot up". When I change input,menu etc. the screen lights up as described then goes dark. But, each time I change menu,etc it lights up on goes out. There is no display other than light white light and mostly on bottom of screen. It kind of lights up dull and then disappears
