Samsung un40eh5000f Power Board Question Can't Post

Hi all:

I turned off my 40" Samsung a few nights ago and it never turned on since! No LED, no relay click, nothing.

I took it apart and I saw a capacitor was obviously blown.

I also saw a lot of heat marks on the board around another component. I think it's a transformer?

I de-soldered it and tried measuring resistance. Between two of the legs I get almost 0 ohms. Between the other legs I get infinite resistance from those legs to any other legs.

Any suggestions? I've found a few sources to buy the whole board, but I'm in Canada and they'll cost me $150 by the time they're shipped. Probably just as well to buy a working used TV by that time... still seems like such a waste to trash this TV.

Thanks in advance.

I've searched high and low for the transformer. I'm guessing it's not a standard part like a capacitor. The side of the transformer has the following letters:

LPD0C-Dry
KS-1208CAK

but I've searched for those terms and no luck.
