Samsung un55mu7000fxza won't turn on Can't Post
I have a Samsung un55mu7000fxza that does not turn on. While the TV was on I unplugged it at the TV (this occurred a few weeks ago, but I think I unplugged it because it was having trouble connecting to the wifi or it was not responding to the remote). After plugging it back in, the standby light was not lit and TV would not turn on.

I replaced the power board (from shopjimmy) and power cord, but still no luck and still no standby light.

Next steps?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just replaced the main board. When I plug it in, it does a continuous cycle of the following:

Red standby light flashes normally for 3-5 seconds and during this time the backlight comes on, but no picture.

After 3-5 seconds the standby light goes off along with the backlight for about 5 seconds, and then the cycle repeats.

Also of note, when the backlight and standby light are on I hear faintly a very fast clicking sound.

Try these two separately and observe if any affect:
1) Unplug WiFi module and see if set comes on.
2) Unplug Main to Power board cable. (Backlights may come on and stay on until set unplugged)

Nothing changed when trying it with the wifi module disconnected.
When I tried it with the main board disconnected, the backlight came on and stayed on until I unplugged it, like you said.

No change in symptom with change of power board (plus it's desired response to unplugging Main to PS cable) would tend to eliminate the Power board as a cause. The unplugging of the wifi board was a long shot that was applicable to a certain range of models, so I doubt that it is involved.
Being that the symptom seemed to change with the installation of the replacement Main board, and knowing that these boards are NOT 'new,' I would still suspect the Main board as the culprit. (You may have been sold a defective board).
