Sanyo TV dead	Can't Post

I returned home last night after a storm had passed in my area which apparently had caused a power outage. I had several pieces of electronic equipment plugged into a power strip/surge protector, including a VCR, DVD player, and a home theater system receiver. They are all working perfectly, but the TV, which was also pligged into this same power strip, will not turn on. When I press the power button nothing happens. The model # is DS35510. Thanks in advance for any help.

Even in some cheap model there is a VERACT DIODE THAT WILL SHORT IF EXESIVE VOLTAGE IS APPLIED to the line, if this did not remain shorted then it could be as simple as changing a fuse, if once you do this and the fuse blows again and the fuse is black ( what we call a flash fail ) there are other problem
