ok i hope this helps out any one with a newer sharps (2011 to around 2013) a 1-1 blink is either a ps or led's (i broke down a lc-60le640 to find all the led's are good) to test the led's you have to break down the panel (which sucks and is a 2 man job) and take a 9v batt. and set the pos side on 1/left side of the led and go 3 over and put neg on 2/right side of the led and the leds should light up (can only do 3 at a time or you have to get like 20 9v to do all of them) also note if a panel is bad you will get a 2-5 blink if you get that disconnect the panel from the tcon and if back light comes up and no flashes its a panel now to reset errors (straight from the service manual) also you need the factory remote (one that came with the tv) 1) Before entering the adjustment process mode, the AV position RESET in the video adjustment menu. 2) While holding down the “VOL (–)” and “INPUT” keys at a time, plug in the AC cord of the main unit to turn on the power. The letter “<K>” appears on the screen. 3) Next, hold down the “VOL (–)” and “CH ( )” keys at a time. (The “VOL (–)” and “CH ( )” keys should be pressed and held until the display appears.) Multiple lines of blue characters appearing on the display indicate that the unit is now in the adjustment process mode. When you fail to enter the adjustment process mode (the display is the same as normal startup), retry the procedure. 4) To exit the adjustment process mode after the adjustment is done, unplug the AC cord from the outlet to make a forced shutdown. (When the power was turned off with the remote controller, once unplug the AC cord and plug it again. In this case, wait 10 seconds or so before plugging.) CAUTION: Use due care in handling the information described here lest your users should know how to enter the adjustment process mode. If the settings are tampered in this mode, unrecoverable system damage may result. also if you need the the service manual just email i have the service manual for the lc60le640u (which is a year newer but all the info applies) brodie29a@gmail.com hope this helps anyone with problems
