Hi all Newbie here, just turned off the TV on Friday as normal, go to turn it on on Saturday and no go ... Firstly there is no standby light when plugged in . All basics checked ie no fuse blown, cable live etc ... but still no go tried a few things like presssing the buttons together and then power on , but still no go ....I have now whipped off the back and checked the boards but see no blown parts per se and no capacitors appeared blown ... Can anyone talk me through the process of what to check next please ...I am not a TV repair man but do have hands on experience of basic soldering and replacing parts ... any help and guidance would really be appreciated ...kind regards Paul
