Sharp LC32D42U HDMI input issue

on the main board. Haven't checked yet to see if it's a v1 or v2 board.
Symptoms: doesn't see HDMI ins when 1st turned on. Turn off and wait a couple minutes, then sees HDMIs.
Haven't tried reseating any molex or other connectors yet.
Is it likely replacing the whole board (or whole TV as it is 10yo) the best option or are there simpler steps to try.
