Sony 27 WEGA - Color Distortion

Hi ,
I recently moved and my TV was in storage for 2 months after moving. Now when i opened the box i discovered that tv is dented from bottom right corner.
And there is a color distortion on screen. There is a U shaped pattern on the screen and below the U the colors seem all green.
Whats puzzling is that the pattern changes somwhat if i move the tv around. I even took it to the center of the room and the pattern changed but the distortion is still there in some shape or form.
Any ideas ?? I dont have any magnetic stuff nearby....my speakers are small and infact still packed in boxes....
