Sony Bravia KDL-40CX520 Display Problem

I wonder if someone has the knowledge to shed some light on what could be wrong with my Sony Bravia TV. From the research I've done it looks as though the T-Con (Timing Control board) is the culprit. If this is the case then the TV is toast as Sony saw fit to mould the T-Con Board into the LCD screen. In the other models the board is a separate unit. The display shows pink and green lines running across the bottom of the screen. Aside from this the TV is operating normally. I've also been inside the TV and checked for any lose connections. There is also no red light error code showing. An image of the problem is here: https://app.box.com/s/2o1hitsjfvzd3zfvlnp49otkbs8msubb For what it's worth I've also attached the result of the Self Diagnostic test. According to the result there is no T-Con error. I've also read that an issue with Sony is that the board can be faulty but the diagnostic test shows that it's OK. What I do get is P_ID_ERR 6 And HST_WDT 38 An image of the self diagnostic test is here: https://app.box.com/s/bfstg3knlsqn7c00no0uny3zor2w1lde I'm still looking for an explanation as to what these mean but Google hasn't come up with the goods yet. Aside from the colour at the bottom of the screen the TV works normally. Thank you for any help.
