Hi- I have a Sony KDL 46Z4100. I was getting the 14 blinking red light error code after the TV was on for 15 seconds or so. Tcon or LCD board issue I understand. I opened it up, disconnected the Tcon board and got a standing green light. I ordered a tcon board, installed it and sadly the same issue. What I discovered is when the Tcon board is out of the circuit I get the green light however after about a minute or two it will fail and give me the 12 blinking lights. I did not notice this issue when I was first troubleshooting as once it stayed on for 30 seconds or so I assumed all was good. My question is I assume the LCD is shot no? If the tcon is disconnected and I still get the 12 blinks it's pointing to the LCD correct?
