Sony KDF-60XS955 Granulated/Rainbow picture

TV was working fine last night. Went to turn the television on this morning and the picture is very grainy, unclear, and dominant colors being shown were reds/orange/blues/seafoam green colors. Here is a picture for reference:

Can anyone help me identify what to call this problem for further searching, and also a possible fix? I know the TV is 7 years old, but buying a new TV is not something on my to-do list right now.
