Sony KV-27TS20 needing degauss

My Sony KV-27TS20 has suddenly developed a glitch. The colors went screwy the other day and I turned it off and back on, hoping it would degauss and go back to normal. Since it didn't, I thought I would open it up to see if it had a degauss button. As I slid it around with the tv still on to see which tool I would need to remove the back, it suddenly degaussed and went back to normal. I thought it was just a freak event, but it just happened again and doesn't seem to want to degauss. I removed the back, but don't see a degauss button. Is there a way to manually degauss this unit inside? What's causing this problem?
