Sony KV-32S20 No Picture, Stuck on Ch 64	Can't Post

Hi,

My kids were playing with my Sony Trinitron last week and now my TV is stuck on channel 64 with a snowy picture. I took it to a local shop and they told me it needed a new circuit board ($300-$400) according to them. Does that sound right?

My thinking was that the channel buttons were broken? Volume works, Never could get Ch 64, but I can't get it to go back to Ch 3 for Direct TV to see if it works. Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

Maby a E-prom reset might fix you up, with the oginal remote try this, first turn the set off. The with the remote key in this ( Display ) ( 5 ) ( volume +) then power. once the set is on press (8) then enter, the set should reset to all factory defaults
