i scored this tv in a cleanup nearby, but have no remote. ive worked out most of the front panel controls but need more info such as:
- replacement sony remote model (do universals fully work & where in .au can i find them?)
- the 2 RCAs at the back do what? is one of them audio in & one RGB vid in (or svid-rgb hopefully)
- what are the 2 speaker wire connections for?
- one scart seems to work ok with dvd player but i cant get rid of the scart logo on screen
- other scart does nothing (scart in?) we dont have scart in .au so i know nothing about it (but i had a cable) ... can these be modified (by hack) to take Svideo-RGB[pal-b]?
- where is the AV channel?? is remote required for it?
- i read channel 0 is best for VCR in.. true? or does an AV channel work?
- is it possible to use svideo, converted to RGB-RCA, converted via sega tv modulator to arial input? i tried this & saw a slight image whilst scanning the channels.. maybe without the modulator?? (i have to try the amiga/genesis(megadrive)/master system also..
- the set shuts down occasionally - i read it may be a power supply problem. anyone actually fixed this problem? info please.
- specs/circuit diagrams/photo of remote/manuals/AnyThing! appreciated
