I have a picture but there are several small horizontal lines running through it and the picture does not go all the way to the bottom of the screen.

Sounds like it's on the verge of vertical collapse. Check the vertical IC for bad solder joints, check all the caps in the vert. circuit, if all that fails replace the vert. IC.
