Sony Wega 36" - Screen fades to black

Hello all,
My 36" Sony Wega intermittently fades to black 3-4 times a day.
I typically give it a couple of good wacks and the picture returns. Which leads me to believe that I possibly have a fractured solder connection somewhere?
I took the TV apart and went over all the connections with a magnifying glass and couldn't find any obvious bad connections.
I removed the Cricuit board off the back of the CRT tube (the yoke?) and reseated it. The tv worked for a week or so without going black. I suppose maybe that board has issues. However, I would greatly appreciate some expert opinions.
