TV/VCR combo Sears LXI Series

I have a TV/VCR Combo. When I turn it on it comes on great then in 5-10 seconds will shut off automaticly. This will happen always and I am unable to watch it. I put in a Video and then it might play 15 seconds then shuts down completely.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to get this TV/VCR to working again. The picture is still good and so is the sound but it will not stay on.
