TV Repairs RCA Model F27672ET Can't Post

Increasingly difficult to receive certain channels while others are perfect. Using the VCR is out of the question because channels 3 & 4 are the worst. From reading the Forum it appears to be a tuner problem. If possible, please confirm. Thank you, Garry

RCA has had a long existing problem with deteriorating solder joint in the tuner. If you are handy with a soldering iron, you can pull the cover off of the tuner and resolder all of these joint. Most of them will be between the PC board and the tuner case. You might also want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for thsi set with a little effort on your part.

If that model has RCA jacks on the back, you can hook up your VCR to those and use channel 00 to get video. Then use your VCR to change channels. To get 00 you will need to use the remote or set it via the menu.
