TV audio problems

I have a nexus HDTV model: NX3701 that had an intermittent problem in which the sound would randomly go out. Usually the sound would come back on by itself or upon turning the tv off then back on. Yesterday it went out and has not come back on again. I took apart the bottom speaker and checked for loose connections and everything seemed to be fine. Can anyone help me diagnose and fix this problem?
