Technika LCD 30 stuck on scanning

Hi all,
I have a technika LCD 40 (tescos) TV. It seems after research I have had a EEPROM chip fail with the TV stuck on "scanning" each time it was powered on and wouldn't do anything else.
I replaced the AV board MAIN AV BOARD T.MSD306.8B-2 and now the screen is blank only showing the backight. I popped back in the old board just to test the screen and it showed up the old error.
Any ideas?
