Toshiba 27" squashed picture Can't Post

Hi, I’m new here and so far have found some good info. I have a 27” Toshiba TV that when I turn it on I have a vertically squashed screen. The pictures is squashed from top to about the center of the screen, as the TV heats up the picture gets larger, growing towards the bottom, after about 20 minutes or so the picture is about 90% of what it should be, and that’s about as good as it will get.

From what I’ve read here, it seems as if my electrolytic capacitor has dried up in the vertical output circuit. If this is true, how do I go about fixing it? How do I find the vertical output circuit? Is this something I can do myself, how hard is it? Or, how much should something like this cost if I have to take it to a repair shop?

TIA

We have the kit you need. It includes the parts, solder, solder wick, instructions, pictures, Tech Support. You just add the soldering iron and your time. (about an hour) You need Toshiba Vertical Kit #2.
