Toshiba 32 " CN 3281B High Voltage Prob

Have a Toshiba 32" CN3281B.......Purchased in 1992!!! Been Ok but...........seems like the high voltage is caput.....turn on TV lights light remote works but nothing else.....no familiar crackle to know the HV is kicking in. Anyone have any pointers on troubleshooting.....is this thing worth the trouble???? I don't have $1000 to replace it so I would like to try to fix it.....are parts still available???/ Oh Well..........could be worse.....my dog could die........
Any help would be worth $$$ to me......Thanks Rick Spalding
