Toshiba 55" projection TV 55H70 blue bowed line from bottom Can't Post

Hi, I'm getting a blue bowed line from bottom corners of the TV. The bow is about an 3” or so thick or so thick and starts in bottom two corners and bows up to about 1/4 way up the TV. The bottom portion under the blue rainbow is a solid yellow crescent. I have tried convergence settings to no avail, since it only moves them slightly.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Craig

It sounds like you need to resolder or maybe replace some ICs. The ICs you need to change are probably STK392-110 ... There are usually 2 you need to change. They should be on a big aluminum heat sink and have about 15 pins each. Sometimes when they go bad it also alters resistors in that area but I've often been lucky and only needed to change the ICs. You can get them here STK392-110

The STK392-110 IC's were the problem, thanks! Took me awhile to get at it and solder the new parts in, but fixed the TV for under $15.
Thanks much!!
