Toshiba CE36G18 no green Can't Post

TongueI have a problem with the color on my tv and it appears I have no green. I think it is probably a driver, but have no manual or schematics. Could someone tell me if they believe the driver would be the most logical problem to account for the the lack of green pigment. If so I would like to know if someone could give me a part number and where I could get the part.

Smile Hi Socold.

It is useful a Analizer/Rejuvenator to check CRT for good condition!.I remembered have serviced a Toshiba

36" 10 years old, Red color was missing,CRT was defective.

Good Luck,,

Hect.

If the green just suddenly disappeared, the problem is probably an open filament in the green gun of the CRT or as you suggest, the green driver is bad. If you can see all three filaments lit in the CRT, I would go for the transistor. You can go the www.wehaveparts.com and plug in your model and part designator and it will give you the proper part number. You might also want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for n opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part
